The Business Growth Manager will be successful when they consistently convert qualified opportunities into revenue, maintain a strong and predictable sales pipeline, improve conversion rates, shorten the sales cycle, and ensure disciplined execution of the company's sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the sales closure process from qualified lead/demo to final negotiation, order confirmation, payment, and closure.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly closure and revenue targets with complete accountability for results.
- Convert qualified leads and completed demos into sales through structured and timely follow-ups.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects through calls, meetings, emails, and other appropriate communication channels until closure or final disqualification.
- Understand customer requirements, objections, and decision-making factors and address them effectively to move the opportunity towards closure.
- Handle price, product, competition, and commercial objections and negotiate effectively within approved company terms.
- Identify decision-makers and influencers and ensure engagement with the right stakeholders to accelerate closure.
- Maintain and actively manage the sales pipeline, ensuring every opportunity has a clear stage, next action, expected closure date, and probability.
- Prioritize high-potential and near-closure opportunities and focus efforts on opportunities with the highest probability of conversion.
- Track conversion at each stage of the closure funnel, including Demo Proposal Negotiation Order Payment.
- Follow up on quotations, proposals, purchase orders, and payment-related requirements to avoid delays in closure.
- Analyse delayed and lost opportunities, identify the reason for non-closure, and take corrective action to improve conversion.
- Maintain accurate CRM updates and closure records, including customer interactions, follow-ups, negotiations, deal value, closure probability, and final status.
- Provide accurate daily/weekly/monthly closure forecasts and reports to management, highlighting expected closures, risks, and pending decisions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for closure-related requirements and ensure timely resolution of customer queries, approvals, documentation, pricing, and post-closure handover.
