Job Summary
The Jewellery Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury shopping experience by assisting customers in selecting jewellery that meets their preferences and requirements. The role involves showcasing jewellery collections, providing detailed product knowledge, achieving sales targets, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and showroom presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly and understand their jewellery requirements and preferences.
- Present and demonstrate gold, diamond, silver, platinum, gemstone, and bridal jewellery collections.
- Provide accurate product information, including purity, certification, pricing, making charges, and maintenance guidelines.
- Assist customers in selecting jewellery based on their budget, occasion, and style.
- Build long-term customer relationships through personalized service and regular follow-ups.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary jewellery products and services.
- Handle billing support, product reservations, exchanges, and customer inquiries.
- Ensure accurate stock handling, inventory checks, and product display arrangements.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, visual merchandising standards, and product presentation.
- Follow all security procedures for handling high-value jewellery.
- Participate in stock audits, promotional events, exhibitions, and festive sales campaigns.
- Stay updated on the latest jewellery trends, collections, and market developments.
- Adhere to company policies, SOPs, and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 12th Pass candidates with relevant jewellery retail experience may also apply.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in jewellery retail or luxury retail sales.
- Experience in selling gold, diamond, bridal, or premium jewellery will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of jewellery products, gemstones, BIS Hallmark, diamond certifications, and pricing concepts.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with billing/POS software.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and festive seasons.

Salary Range
- ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience, product knowledge, and sales performance.
