Pastry Chef – Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, cakes, breads, cookies, desserts, and confectionery items.
- Develop and decorate cakes, pastries, and desserts according to customer requirements and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Plan daily production schedules based on customer orders and business requirements.
- Monitor ingredient quality and ensure proper storage of raw materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen in accordance with food safety standards.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, ovens, mixers, and other kitchen appliances.
- Develop new pastry recipes and seasonal menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team for ingredient requirements.
- Minimize food wastage while maintaining product quality.
- Train and guide junior pastry chefs, bakers, and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dessert offerings.
- Handle customer requests for customized cakes and special dessert orders.
- Maintain production records and ensure timely delivery of baked products.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
