Job Summary:
Under the Yonex Sunrise CSR Initiative – Sunrise Saksham Project, with us Suma Blessings Foundation as the implementing partner, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer – Stringing & Retail Store Marketing Skills to deliver practical and industry-oriented training to youth and job seekers.
The trainer will be responsible for developing participants' skills in stringing, retail store operations, customer service, sales techniques, digital marketing, and workplace readiness to enhance their employability and entrepreneurship opportunities. As part of the Sunrise Saksham Project, the training will be provided free of cost, supporting the vision of empowering individuals with sports industry-relevant skills, sustainable livelihood opportunities, greater economic self-reliance and can fulfill the dream of a career in sports but couldn't pursue it, this program can help who build specialized skills and connect with emerging opportunities in the sports industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Practical Sessions :
- Assist in conducting badminton racket stringing training sessions.
- Demonstrate correct stringing techniques using manual and electronic stringing machines.
- Train participants on string installation, tension settings, knot tying, and racket maintenance.
- Supervise practical sessions and provide hands-on guidance to trainees.
- Support trainee assessments and skill evaluations.
Workshop & Equipment Management
- Maintain stringing machines and training tools.
- Monitor stock of strings, grips, grommets, and accessories.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the workshop.
Trainee Support
- Track trainee attendance and progress.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship.
- Encourage discipline and adherence to training guidelines.
Reporting & Documentation :
- Maintain attendance records and assessment reports.
- Submit weekly progress reports.
- Assist in organizing training schedules and certification activities.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Minimum 12th Pass / Diploma / ITI / Graduate.
- Certification in badminton racket stringing preferred.
- Experience in badminton coaching support, racket servicing, or sports retail is an advantage.
Required Skills :
- Knowledge of badminton racket stringing techniques.
- Ability to operate stringing machines.
- Good communication and teaching skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Teamwork and organizational abilities.
Experience :
- 2–3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Skilled freshers with practical knowledge may also apply.
