About the Role
Lighthouse Communities Foundation is looking for a passionate and driven Centre Head to lead the implementation and day-to-day operations of the Lighthouse Program in Palghar.
As the Centre Head, you will be responsible for managing the centre, leading a high-performing team, building strong community and stakeholder partnerships, and ensuring that underserved youth are equipped with the skills and opportunities needed to access sustainable livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation
- Lead the end-to-end execution of the Lighthouse Program at the assigned centre.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all program activities.
- Monitor program outcomes and drive continuous improvement to achieve organizational goals.
Placement & Career Support
- Facilitate employment opportunities and placement support for students.
- Coordinate interview schedules and ensure students are well-prepared for recruitment processes.
- Organize mock interviews, employer interactions, and career guidance sessions.
- Build relationships with local employers and identify employment opportunities.
- Work closely with the Placement Manager to improve placement outcomes.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 4–7 members.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Oversee monthly planning, task allocation, and productivity tracking.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
Centre Operations
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the centre.
- Oversee administrative activities, infrastructure, and centre assets.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and learner-friendly environment.
Data Management & Reporting
- Ensure accurate maintenance of student records and program data.
- Submit timely reports and support effective use of Lighthouse's technology platforms and MIS systems.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with community leaders, government departments, NGOs, corporates, employers, skilling partners, and volunteers.
- Represent the organization during community meetings, stakeholder engagements, and local events.
Eligibility & Experience
- Master's degree (MSW preferred) or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
- 4–8 years of experience in program implementation, skilling, livelihoods, education, youth development, or the social sector.
- Experience managing training centres or community-based programs is preferred.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
- Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent presentation, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Results-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
Digital Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.
