Mission:
The Technical Lead & Scrum Master is responsible for coordinating software development activities and processes, ensuring the quality, security, and timely delivery of applications within the GHC emissions ecosystem. This role combines Agile leadership with strong technical expertise to guide development teams, provide technical mentoring and coaching to developers, drive continuous improvement, validate technical solutions, and oversee production releases. The position acts as a key liaison between development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and operation of software products, while actively participating in knowledge transfer activities with the current GHC emissions team to support knowledge continuity and capability development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
2. Coordinate development activities and balance team workload.
3. Monitor sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of commitments.
4. Review, validate, and arbitrate technical decisions and development outcomes.
5. Conduct code reviews and approve pull requests to ensure quality standards.
6. Manage and validate release processes, and production deployments.
7. Facilitate communication & collaboration across development, infrastructure, and business teams.
8. Track delivery performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Support UX/UI improvement initiatives and ensure quality implementation.
10. Manage user accounts, permissions, application configurations, and data structures.
11. Ownership of technical roadmap & Software architecture governance
12. Act as the primary contact for infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational topics.
13. Ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.

Work Experience
1. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2. 8+ years of experience in software development, including experience in Scrum Master, Technical Lead, or Senior Software Engineer roles.
3. C++, Qt, Python, CMake, Bash, PowerShell.
4. Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions.
5. Automated Testing
6. Linux and Windows development environments and Jira.
7. Strong experience in Agile environments & software delivery.
8. Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating production releases.
9. Agile Scrum and Agile delivery practices and technical leadership and mentoring
