Job Description
We are looking for a creative, passionate, and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, garment construction, and the ability to turn creative concepts into commercially successful designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop original fashion concepts, collections, and garment designs based on current trends and brand requirements.
- Create sketches, mood boards, color palettes, and technical drawings.
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, and market developments.
- Select appropriate fabrics, trims, accessories, and other materials for each design.
- Work closely with pattern makers, tailors, production teams, and suppliers to develop samples.
- Review samples and make necessary changes to achieve the desired fit, finish, and quality.
- Ensure designs meet brand standards, quality requirements, and production timelines.
- Coordinate with merchandising and production teams to ensure smooth execution of collections.
- Maintain design documentation, specifications, and product details.
- Stay updated on emerging fashion trends and contribute fresh and innovative ideas.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Fashion Designer is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, patterns, and fashion trends.
- Good sketching and design presentation skills.
- Proficiency in fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple designs and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio showcasing original fashion designs.
