Key Responsibilities
- Panel Fabrication & Assembly: Assemble, wire, and test electrical panels including Main Distribution Boards (MDB), Sub Distribution Boards (SDB), Control Panels, ATS Panels, APFC Panels, and PLC-based panels.
- Wiring & Termination: Perform precise control and power wiring, cable termination, dressing, and labeling as per electrical drawings and schematics.
- Installation & Commissioning: Install panels at site, connect to power supply, test functionality, and commission electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose faults in existing panels, identify issues in relays, contactors, breakers, meters, PLCs, VFDs, and other components, and carry out necessary repairs.
- Testing & Quality Control: Perform insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, polarity tests, and functional testing of panels before and after installation.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical standards (IS/IEC), safety regulations, and company SOPs. Follow proper Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Documentation: Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, GA drawings, and prepare as-built drawings and test reports.
- Coordination: Work closely with project engineers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintenance: Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical panels and switchgear.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical panel work.
- Proven experience in industrial / commercial panel fabrication and site installation.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of LT & HT electrical panels.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, control drawings, and panel layouts.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Switchgears (ACB, MCCB, MCB, Contactors, Relays, Overload Relays)
- PLC, VFD, HMI integration
- Power and control wiring
- Earthing and cable management
- Knowledge of IEC / IS standards for panel building.
- Ability to use testing equipment (Megger, Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Phase Sequence Meter, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of automation and control systems is a strong advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
