About the Role
The National Institute of Education and Development (NIED) is inviting applications for the position of Mobiliser to support the enrollment of students in Technical Skill Development Programs focused on Automobile, Electric Vehicle (EV), Industrial Process & Automation, Manufacturing, and related trades.
The Mobiliser will play a key role in identifying, counseling, and enrolling eligible youth while building strong relationships with educational institutions and local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilize and enroll students for technical training programs in Automobile, EV, Industrial Process & Automation, and related sectors.
- Conduct awareness sessions, career counseling, and mobilization drives in ITIs, Polytechnic Colleges, Schools, Degree Colleges, and local communities.
- Coordinate with Principals, Placement Officers, Faculty Members, Gram Panchayats, NGOs, SHGs, and community leaders.
- Achieve monthly enrollment targets through effective field mobilization.
- Organize seminars, career guidance sessions, roadshows, and promotional activities.
- Maintain student databases, counseling records, attendance, and daily mobilization reports.
- Assist candidates throughout the admission and onboarding process.
- Support placement activities and post-training follow-up.
- Travel extensively within the assigned district.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (12th pass with relevant field experience may also be considered).
- 1–3 years of experience in student mobilization, admissions, counseling, education, skill development, or community outreach.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and local network may also apply.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to motivate and guide students regarding career opportunities.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Target-oriented with good field marketing abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and Google Forms.
- Willingness to travel across the assigned region.
- Knowledge of the local language and geography of Uttarakhand is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in:
- Skill Development Programs
- Student Admissions & Mobilization
- ITI/Polytechnic/Technical Education
- NSDC, PMKVY, CSR, or Government Skill Development Projects
- Automobile or Manufacturing Sector Training Programs
will be preferred.
Salary
₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on qualifications and experience) + Travel Allowance + Performance Incentives (as per organizational policy).
