Job Title: WordPress Developer & SEO | Digital Marketing Executive
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer who specializes in custom theme and plugin development, and also possesses a strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles. The ideal candidate should be capable of building high-performance, SEO-optimized websites tailored for growth, lead generation, and online visibility. You'll work closely with designers and marketers to create seamless digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop fully custom, lightweight, and scalable WordPress themes from UI/UX designs (Figma, PSD, etc.).
Create and maintain custom WordPress plugins to extend website functionality.
Ensure websites are SEO-friendly, mobile-responsive, and follow W3C standards.
Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate tracking pixels, conversion scripts, and campaign tools.
Optimize websites for speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
Work with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Facebook Pixel.
Perform regular site updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve site-related issues.
Manage hosting environments, server migrations, and domain configurations.
Implement schema markup, meta tags, sitemaps, and other on-page SEO elements.

Required Technical Skills:
Strong experience with PHP, WordPress Core, and OOP practices.
Deep knowledge of custom plugin development and use of hooks, filters, shortcodes, etc.
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
Experience working with custom post types (CPTs), taxonomies, ACF, etc.
Familiarity with MySQL and database optimization.
Working knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
REST API integration experience is a plus.

SEO & Digital Marketing Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of on-page SEO (meta titles/descriptions, heading structure, schema, internal linking).
Experience using SEO plugins like Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or All-in-One SEO.
Ability to set up and manage Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Search Console, Facebook Pixel, etc.
Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and landing page setup.
Basic knowledge of email marketing integrations (Mailchimp, Sendinblue, etc.).
Awareness of performance auditing tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTMetrix, etc.

Experience with Gutenberg Block Editor and Full Site Editing (FSE).

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field (preferred) Or Diploma in DIgitial Marketing
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in WordPress custom development.
Proven experience working on SEO-integrated websites and Digital marketing.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
