About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Consultant to work closely with business owners and leadership teams in driving business transformation and solving critical business challenges. The role involves understanding business processes, analysing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of practical solutions across areas such as strategy, finance, operations, sales, HR, and business processes.
The consultant will get hands-on exposure to diverse businesses, particularly MSMEs, and will be expected to work closely with clients to understand their business, develop structured recommendations, and support execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client business models, processes, challenges, and growth objectives through discussions, data, and business observations.
- Develop business strategies, transformation plans, and implementation roadmaps.
- Analyse and improve business processes across functions such as Finance, Operations, Sales & Marketing, HR, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
- Develop SOPs, policies, process documents, KPI frameworks, and performance tracking systems as required.
- Prepare MIS, management reports, dashboards, financial models, and analytical presentations to support decision-making.
- Present findings, analysis, and recommendations to clients in a clear and structured manner.
- Work with client teams to support the implementation of recommendations and track progress against agreed action plans.
- Coordinate with client teams and internal teams to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
- Contribute to developing templates, frameworks, tools, and knowledge resources for consulting assignments.
Education & Experience
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Finance, Operations, General Management preferred. Candidates from other relevant backgrounds may also be considered. (Undergraduate and Postgraduate can apply)
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in management consulting, manufacturing, business analysis, strategy, finance, operations, or a similar role.
Skills Required
- Business & Commercial Acumen – Understanding of how businesses operate, generate revenue, manage costs, and drive profitability.
- Analytical Thinking – Ability to analyse business and financial data, identify trends, gaps, and key insights.
- Problem-Solving – Ability to identify root causes and develop practical, implementable solutions.
- Financial Analysis – Basic understanding of P&L, costing, profitability, working capital, budgeting, and financial performance.
- Process Improvement – Ability to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardisation.
- MS Excel – Strong proficiency in Excel/Google sheets for data analysis, reporting, financial models, and dashboards.
- PowerPoint & Presentation Skills – Ability to structure information and present findings and recommendations clearly.
- Research Skills – Ability to conduct market, industry, competitor, and business research.
- Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication, particularly when interacting with business owners and senior management.
- Client Management – Ability to build professional relationships, understand client requirements, and manage expectations.
- Documentation Skills – Ability to prepare SOPs, policies, reports, process documents, and other consulting deliverables.
- Attention to Detail – Accuracy and thoroughness in analysis, documentation, and deliverables.
- Adaptability & Learning Agility – Ability to quickly understand different industries, businesses, and functional areas.
- Ownership & Execution – Willingness to take responsibility for tasks and drive them through to completion.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
