Pragati Coatings is seeking a Production Planner - to manage and optimize production planning activities in coordination with cross-functional teams. The role involves developing detailed production schedules while considering batch processes, machine capacity, material availability, and operational constraints.
The candidate will collaborate closely with procurement, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production flow, maximum capacity utilization, and minimal material losses.
Key responsibilities include
- monitoring inventory levels
- managing production cycles
- handling contingencies such as supply disruptions or equipment downtime
- maintaining accurate planning data in ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central/ Navision, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams is essential
- The position also supports continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization, and implementation of Lean manufacturing and process best practices.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in manufacturing is required, with automotive industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of injection moulding is essential
Candidate should have at least 7+ years of experience.
