We are seeking a ServiceNow Integrations Developer to design, build, and maintain
secure, scalable integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems (ERP,
CRM, HRIS, AD, monitoring tools and cloud services). The role will own end-to-end
integration delivery from requirements and design through development, testing,
deployment, and operational support. This position collaborates with architects,
product owners, security, and third-party vendors to ensure reliable data exchange
and automation.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations using Integration Hub, Flow Designer,
Scripted REST APIs, SOAP/REST web services, MID Server, and eventdriven patterns.
- Build and maintain reusable integration patterns, custom APIs, transform
maps, import sets, and data pipelines to ensure consistent data models and
mapping.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization for integrations (OAuth,
API keys, SAML, mutual TLS), and ensure data protection and governance.
- Develop automated workflows and business logic in ServiceNow (Business
Rules, Script Includes, Flows, UI Actions) to support integrated processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, performance issues, and data
inconsistencies; implement monitoring, alerts, and runbooks.
- Create and maintain technical design documents, API specs, test plans, and
deployment runbooks; participate in code reviews and knowledge transfer.
- Support platform upgrades and regression testing to ensure integrations
remain compatible with new ServiceNow releases.
- Work with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and manage update-sets or scoped app
packaging for deployments.
Required skills and experience
- 3–6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with a focus on
integrations and automation.
- Strong experience with IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Scripted REST APIs,
MID Server configuration, and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Proficiency in JavaScript (server-side Glide API and client-side scripting),
JSON, XML, and data mapping/transformation techniques.
- Practical knowledge of authentication models (OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, API
keys) and secure data exchange patterns.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with common enterprise applications (e.g.,
SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, AWS).
- Solid understanding of CMDB concepts, ITSM processes (Incident, Change,
Problem), and how integrations impact those processes.
- Familiarity with debugging tools, logging, monitoring, and performance tuning
for integrations.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional
teams and external vendors.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA),
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — IntegrationHub or relevant
modules.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns (message queues, eventdriven architectures, Kafka, MQ) and middleware platforms.
- Exposure to Kubernetes, cloud-native APIs, or platform-as-a-service
connectors.
- Experience building scoped applications and using App Engine/Creator
Studio.
- Knowledge of ITOM, HR Service Delivery, or Security Operations integrations.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test frameworks for ServiceNow
(e.g., ATF).
Education & logistics
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
equivalent experience.
- Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (on-site / hybrid) or remote with overlap to
IST work hours.
- Employment type: Full-time (or contract — adjust as needed).
Pay: ₹452,776.80 - ₹1,726,629.04 per year
