Job Summary
KTPL Technologies is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Biomedical Engineer to join our service team in Rajasthan. The role involves installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of biomedical and medical imaging equipment.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in biomedical equipment servicing, strong troubleshooting skills, good customer-handling abilities, and a willingness to travel locally for on-site service support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical and multimodality medical equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
- Attend service calls and ensure timely resolution of technical issues with minimal equipment downtime.
- Perform installation, inspection, servicing, and maintenance of assigned medical equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
- Train customers on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and proper handling.
- Coordinate with service contractors for maintenance activities and collect required service documentation.
- Coordinate with the Service Coordinator for spare parts required for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Prepare and submit service reports, preventive maintenance reports, and other service-related documentation.
- Maintain proper records of service calls, equipment issues, repairs, and parts used.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through timely communication and technical support.
- Ensure closure of assigned service calls within defined timelines.
- Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and service protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience may also be considered.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in the Biomedical Engineering field, particularly in equipment servicing and maintenance.
