We are a leading provider of GPS Tracking and Fleet Management solutions, offering an advanced SaaS platform integrated with GPS and IoT devices.
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to support both our GPS tracking devices and software platform. This role is primarily focused on hardware troubleshooting, device configuration, installation support, and technical issue resolution, while also assisting customers with platform-related queries.
This position is best suited for candidates with experience in hardware technical support, electronics, IoT devices, automotive electronics, or similar technical support roles. Experience with GPS tracking systems is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote assistance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, device communication, and platform-related issues.
- Configure, activate, test, and support GPS tracking devices and ensure proper connectivity with the platform.
- Coordinate with field technicians for device installations, replacements, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Identify and resolve issues related to device connectivity, SIM communication, power supply, and installations.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and technical requests professionally while ensuring timely resolution.
- Guide customers in using the fleet management platform and its features effectively.
- Maintain accurate support records, service reports, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality customer support and service delivery.
- Stay updated on new products, technologies, and internal support processes.
Qualifications
Education
- B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in Technical Support, Hardware Support, Electronics, IoT Devices, Automotive Electronics, Vehicle Electrical Systems, or a similar technical role.
- Experience in GPS tracking, telematics, fleet management, or electronic device support is preferred but not mandatory.

Technical Skills
- Good understanding of hardware troubleshooting and electronic devices.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, Windows, networking fundamentals, and remote support.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking devices, IoT solutions, or fleet management platforms will be an added advantage.
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to customers and coordinate effectively with field technicians.
- Knowledge of Malayalam, Hindi, or other regional languages is an added advantage.
Personal Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Quick learner with a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
