Technical Support Engineer — GPS/Telematics

The role
You'll be the first line of technical support — mainly for GPS hardware, plus platform queries.
What you'll do
- Support customers over phone, email, and remote sessions
- Troubleshoot GPS devices: connectivity, SIM, power, installation issues
- Configure, activate, and test tracking devices on our platform
- Coordinate with field technicians for installations and replacements
- Guide customers on using the platform
- Keep support records and troubleshooting documentation up to date
Who fits
Hands-on experience with GPS hardware, IoT devices, automotive electronics, or similar technical support. You solve problems methodically and communicate clearly with customers.
Qualifications
Education
- B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in Technical Support, Hardware Support, Electronics, IoT Devices, Automotive Electronics, Vehicle Electrical Systems, or a similar technical role.
- Experience in GPS tracking, telematics, fleet management, or electronic device support is preferred but not mandatory.
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to customers and coordinate effectively with field technicians.
- Knowledge of Malayalam, Hindi, or other regional languages is an added advantage.
Personal Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Quick learner with a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
