Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Based on Interview ,experience and KPI)
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Executive with proven experience in the optical industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong product knowledge across the complete optical range—from introductory and value-for-money products to premium and luxury eyewear. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and delivering an exceptional buying experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of optical products including prescription frames, sunglasses, lenses, contact lenses, and accessories.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products based on budget, lifestyle, and vision needs.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of optical products from entry-level to luxury brands.
- Handle customer inquiries, objections, and after-sales support professionally.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with the store and inventory team to ensure product availability.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new product launches, and competitor offerings.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards and represent the brand professionally.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of mandatory experience in the optical industry.
- Strong understanding of optical products, lens types, frame materials, coatings, sunglasses, and premium eyewear brands.
- Experience selling products ranging from introductory to luxury segments.
- Proven ability to manage and convert customers in Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets through effective communication and relationship-building.
- Strong negotiation, sales closing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand customer preferences and recommend suitable optical solutions.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with billing or CRM software is preferred.
- Ability to work in a target-driven retail sales environment.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Optometry (B.Optom/D.Optom) qualification or certification will be considered an added advantage.
