As part of our ongoing PAN India expansion, we are looking for a highly accomplished Director of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership and support the company's growth objectives. The successful candidate will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, EBITDA optimization, liquidity management, risk management, internal controls, and financial reporting while partnering with senior leadership to drive profitability and sustainable business growth. The role will also play a key part in evaluating new business opportunities, pre-opening projects, and expansion initiatives across India.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Mumbai for a Financial Director. The role will be responsible for leading the organization's overall financial strategy, planning, and performance management. The role involves overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity and cash flow management, financial reporting, and business planning to support organizational growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities include managing and analyzing Profit & Loss (P&L) performance, monitoring and improving EBITDA, developing financial models, conducting financial analysis, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. The Financial Director will oversee pre-opening financial planning and controls for new business ventures, establish and strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
The role also includes leading risk management initiatives, optimizing working capital, managing liquidity, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Financial Director will partner with senior leadership to drive operational efficiency, profitability, and sustainable business growth while leading and mentoring the finance team to maintain high standards of financial management and reporting across the organization.

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Financial Planning and Finance to develop and execute financial strategies effectively
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Exceptional Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data and support data-driven decision-making
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a financial team
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CA are advantageous
- Experience in the Hospitality service industry is a must
