About the Role:
We are looking for skilled Language Editors. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good command of English, and familiarity with CMS content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform style and language editing for Chicago Manual of Style(CMS) journals and books.
- Ensure adherence to specific style guides (APA, AMA, CMS, RSC, ACS, etc.).
- Edit for grammar, clarity, consistency, and formatting.
- Work on projects from leading publishers in the e-publishing industry.
- Handle Level 1 & 2 (light and medium) editing.
Education: Masters degree or above.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–5 years in CMS copyediting or language editing.
- Prior experience with e-publishing companies preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent English grammar and language proficiency.
- Strong understanding of Language editing principles.
- Familiarity with MS Word, and digital editing platforms is a plus.
- Notice Period:
- Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 1-month notice preferred.
