Key Responsibilities :----
Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll for company employees with 100% accuracy and within timelines.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, shift allowances, incentives, deductions, loans, and final salary.
- Ensure compliance with company payroll policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare payroll reports, MIS, reconciliation statements, and salary analysis.
- Handle Full & Final (F&F) settlements, salary revisions, and payroll-related employee queries.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance under:
- EPF
- ESIC
- Professional Tax
- Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
- Bonus Act
- Gratuity Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- Payment of Bonus Act
- Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
- Other applicable labour laws and labour code
- Coordinate with consultants and government authorities during inspections and audits.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, returns, and documentation.
Contract Labour Management
- Monitor statutory compliance of contractors and manpower agencies.
- Verify contractor wage registers, attendance, wage disbursement, PF, ESIC, PT, and labour licence documents.
- Ensure contractors comply with all statutory obligations before processing invoices.
- Coordinate with plant departments regarding contract manpower deployment.
MIS & Documentation
- Prepare monthly compliance dashboards and payroll MIS.
- Maintain employee records and statutory documents.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist HR in compliance-related projects and policy implementation.
Candidate Requirements
Education
- Graduate (B.Com/BBA preferred)
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in payroll and statutory compliance.
- Experience in a manufacturing company is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in handling both company payroll and contractual manpower payroll/compliance.
Salary - As per company standards and candidate experience.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel preferred).
- Hands-on experience with payroll software.
- Experience in Orange HRMS/Payroll Software will be a significant advantage.
- Good knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliances.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict payroll timelines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Local candidate from Vadodara or nearby areas.
- Gujarati language proficiency is mandatory.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
