Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Executive cum Environmental Engineer to join our corporate team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for navigating the regulatory landscape, ensuring all environmental licenses are up to date, and managing all formal interactions and documentation with the GPCB.
Key Responsibilities
- GPCB Liaison: Handle the end-to-end process for obtaining and renewing CTE (Consent to Establish) and CCA (Consolidated Consent and Authorization).
- Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and submit technical reports, environment statements (Form-V), and hazardous waste returns (Form-4).
- XGN Portal Management: Expertly navigate the Xtended Green Node (XGN) portal for online submissions, queries, and tracking application status.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest notifications from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) and GPCB to ensure corporate strategy remains compliant.
- Site Audits: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure on-site practices align with the documentation submitted to authorities.
- Client Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for compliance-related queries between the corporate office and various stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Environmental Engineering or M.Sc. in Environmental Science.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience specifically dealing with Gujarat environmental regulations.
- Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the Hazardous Waste Management Rules.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong command over written English and Gujarati (for local coordination).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word) for report preparation.
- Ability to meet strict filing deadlines.
