Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Head – Human Resources to lead the complete HR function of the hospital. The role will be responsible for workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR policies, compliance, learning & development, and building a strong employee-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall HR strategy and people agenda aligned with hospital business objectives.
- Manage manpower planning and workforce requirements across clinical, nursing, paramedical, administrative, and support functions.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment for doctors, nurses, technicians, pharmacists, allied healthcare professionals, and corporate/support staff.
- Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical healthcare positions.
- Manage onboarding, induction, employee engagement, retention, and exit processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee welfare initiatives.
- Lead performance management, appraisal, promotions, and career development processes.
- Design and implement compensation and benefits structures in line with market standards.
- Monitor employee costs, manpower budgets, and HR-related operating expenses.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, hospital policies, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Work closely with department heads and senior management to resolve employee-related issues.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Develop training and development programs for clinical and non-clinical employees.
- Support NABH/accreditation-related HR documentation, training, competency, and compliance requirements.
- Establish HR metrics and dashboards covering manpower, attrition, absenteeism, hiring, productivity, and employee engagement.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, patient-centricity, ethics, and teamwork.
- Lead and mentor the HR team and ensure effective delivery of HR services across the hospital.
- Advise senior management on organizational structure, workforce strategy, employee relations, and people risks.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- 12–18+ years of HR experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare organization.
- Experience managing HR for a multi-specialty/tertiary-care hospital will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare manpower and recruitment processes.
- Experience handling large-scale recruitment of doctors, nurses, paramedical, and support staff.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR compliance, employee relations, and statutory requirements.
- Experience with NABH HR standards/accreditation will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with doctors, clinical leadership, nursing teams, and hospital management.

Preferred Candidate: A strategic and hands-on HR leader with strong hospital HR, healthcare recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and people-management experience, capable of building a high-performing workforce and supporting the hospital's growth.
Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
