Job Description
Youth of India Foundation is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to lead the implementation of a field-based CSR project in Hazaribag, Jharkhand. The selected candidate will be responsible for overall project planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and reporting, and must stay at the project location throughout the project duration.
Accommodation will be provided by the Foundation. Food expenses will be borne by the candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of the project.
- Supervise and guide the field team to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
- Coordinate with government departments, district administration, local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of Self-Help Group (SHG) and livelihood development activities.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and donor/CSR requirements.
- Prepare, review, and submit project reports, documentation, utilization records, meeting minutes, and progress updates.
- Conduct regular field visits, monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project resources efficiently and ensure smooth coordination between field and head office teams.
- Represent the organization during meetings, inspections, and stakeholder engagements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in managing SHG, livelihood, CSR, rural development, or community development projects.
- Strong project planning, team management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Excellent documentation, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English (spoken and written).
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Own laptop is mandatory.
- Willingness to relocate and stay in Hazaribag, Jharkhand until the project is completed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in managing multi-stakeholder CSR or government-funded projects.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in field conditions and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in NGO or development sector projects will be an added advantage.
