Job Purpose
We are seeking an execution-focused, data-driven Digital Marketing & Growth Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our Shopify D2C store performance and digital customer acquisition. In this role, you will lead a small, agile in-house team to scale revenue while optimizing efficiency. You are a "T-shaped" marketer—deeply tactical in paid performance channels (Google Ads, Meta) and organic traffic (SEO), while holding strong strategic capabilities in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities1. Performance Marketing & Customer Acquisition
- Google Ads Strategy & Execution: Build, monitor, and optimize Search, Performance Max (PMax), and Shopping campaigns. Take complete accountability for ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost).
- Google Merchant Center (GMC) Management: Own the product feed health. Troubleshoot policy violations, optimize product titles/attributes for search relevance, and ensure seamless sync with Shopify.
- Meta Ads Over-sight: Work with the internal creative team to script, deploy, and test high-converting ad hooks and creatives on Facebook & Instagram.
2. Shopify Store Ownership & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Store Management: Manage the frontend Shopify experience, including seamless catalog collection updates, pricing changes, and inventory tracking coordination.
- Funnel Optimization: Analyze the drop-off metrics from "Add to Cart" to "Checkout." Identify friction points and run A/B tests on landing pages to steadily improve the store’s baseline conversion rate.
- App Ecosystem: Evaluate and implement Shopify plug-ins (e.g., reviews, subscription apps, upsells, and whatsapp/SMS automation) to boost Average Order Value (AOV).
3. Organic Growth & Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Technical & On-Page SEO: Ensure clean URL structures, high mobile responsiveness, page speed optimization, and correct schema implementations on Shopify.
- Keyword Strategy: Direct the content/copywriting workflow to rank target collection and product pages for high-intent organic search queries.
4. Team Leadership & Daily Operations
- People Management: Provide direct daily execution workflows for a 2-3 person in-house team (graphic designer, store executive, or copywriter). Convert monthly business targets into daily actionable checklists for them.
- Data & MIS Reporting: Own the weekly and monthly growth dashboards. Track and report clean data on website traffic, marketing spend, blended ROAS, New vs. Returning customer ratios, and lifetime value (LTV).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on experience driving growth for e-commerce/D2C brands. At least 1 year of experience guiding or directing small design/creative teams.
- Core Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Google Ads Manager, Google Merchant Center, GA4 (Google Analytics), Google Search Console, and Shopify Backend.
- Analytical Mindset: Expert-level comfort with MS Excel / Google Sheets for analyzing campaign metrics, matching performance data, and extracting clear business insights.
- The "Doer" Mentality: While you will lead a small team, you must be entirely comfortable stepping in to build campaigns, write ad copy, or fix a feed issue yourself when needed.
