Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations.
Diagnose vision problems (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, etc.).
Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses.
Identify early signs of eye diseases and refer patients to specialists when required.
Use and maintain optical instruments properly.
Guide patients on eye care, hygiene, and proper lens usage.
Maintain accurate patient records and examination reports.
Assist customers in selecting suitable spectacle frames and lenses (if working in an optical store).
Ensure high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.
Follow clinic/hospital protocols and maintain professional ethics.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Optometry.
Valid registration/certification (if applicable).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of optical instruments and eye-testing procedures.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
