Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Corporate Sales will be responsible for driving B2B sales by acquiring and managing corporate clients for bulk bakery orders, corporate gifting, employee meal programs, office catering, celebrations, events, and institutional business. The role requires developing long-term relationships with corporate accounts while achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients, IT companies, MNCs, educational institutions, hospitals, event companies, and business parks.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and client meetings.
- Develop and execute corporate sales strategies to maximize business opportunities.
- Promote premium bakery products, customized cakes, hampers, festive gifting, snack boxes, and catering services.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, Administration, Procurement, Facilities, and Purchase teams.
- Ensure repeat business through excellent customer service and regular engagement.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service agreements.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products.
Corporate Gifting & Events
- Drive seasonal sales during festivals, New Year, Diwali, Christmas, and other occasions.
- Promote customized gifting solutions and premium hampers.
- Generate business for corporate meetings, conferences, employee engagement events, product launches, and celebrations.
- Coordinate large-value bulk orders with production and operations teams.
Sales Planning & Execution
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales plans.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Conduct product presentations, sampling sessions, and client demonstrations.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Delivery teams for seamless order execution.
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining quality standards.
- Resolve customer complaints and service-related issues promptly.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales forecasts, conversion ratios, and revenue performance.
- Monitor receivables and ensure timely payment collections.
- Maintain accurate customer database and CRM records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- MBA (Marketing) preferred.
Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in Corporate/B2B Sales.
- Experience in QSR, Premium Bakery, Café, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, FMCG, or Retail Food brands is preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate gifting, institutional sales, catering, or bulk order management is an added advantage.
