How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:
As an SAP Basis and BO Admin Analyst, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining our SAP landscape, like S/4 PCE and GTS on HEC. You will work closely with internal Senior Basis members, SAP Analysts and external SAP support to ensure system stability, performance and security.
This role will be based in Goa or Hyderabad in India.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Performing daily system health checks, monitoring system performance, and analyzing system logs, short dumps and workload overviews to ensure optimal performance.
- Scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting background jobs and spool/print administration.
- Acting as the technical liaison with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS). Opening, tracking, and managing SAP Support incidents (OSS notes) for system errors or requests requiring SAP’s intervention.
- Coordinating with senior team members and SAP ECS during planned maintenance windows, system copies, and patching cycles.
- Learning and staying current on the features and functionality of application software and databases, focusing on technology to improve performance, availability, reliability, and stability.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis and Business Objects Administration or a similar technical support role within an SAP environment.
- Proficiency with standard SAP Basis and Business Objects transaction codes
- Solid foundational understanding of the SAP NetWeaver / ABAP stack architecture.
- Basic knowledge of SAP HANA database administration and architecture.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to perform basic root-cause analysis on system performance issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document technical processes and collaborate effectively with non-technical functional teams.
- Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment (understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
You Will Excite Us If You:
- Are familiar with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) concepts, including SAP Cloud Connector, Identity Authentication Services (IAS), and BTP Cockpit administration.
- Have basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automating routine administrative tasks.
