· The candidate should handle all purchases / procurement of building construction related items.
· Working experience in sourcing / purchase of building construction materials and other allied products.
· Identifying and sourcing potential suppliers and negotiating contracts
· Managing the purchasing process, from requisition to delivery
· Collection of material from vendors and despatch to various sites through various mode of transport.
· Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely reordering of supplies
· Conducting market research to stay informed of industry trends and best practices
· Maintaining supplier relationships and resolving any issues that may arise
· Ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
· Preparing and tracking purchasing reports and budgets
· Coordinating with other department for payment.
· Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
· 8 -10 years of experience in procurement in construction, or real estate.
· Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Inventory Management Software, and procurement systems.
· Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Candidates from Goa preferred
