About the Role :
We are building low-cost, practical robotics and IoT hardware products for real-world use. As our Hardware Engineer , you will take full ownership of designing, prototyping, and scaling embedded hardware solutions from idea to production. You will work hands-on with microcontrollers like ESP32 and Arduino to create reliable, affordable products that include sensors, wireless connectivity, actuators, and power-efficient designs.
This is a high-impact role where your college projects will directly translate into real products. You will help us keep hardware costs minimal while delivering functional, production-ready robotics and IoT devices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, prototype, and iterate on embedded hardware products using ESP32, Arduino, and similar microcontrollers.
- Develop and optimize firmware for features such as sensor integration, wireless communication (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth), data logging, actuator control, and configurable operation.
- Create and refine custom PCB designs with focus on low BOM cost and easy manufacturing.
- Integrate various components (sensors, cameras, motors, power modules, etc.) into complete robotics/IoT systems.
- Implement power optimization techniques (deep sleep, battery/solar compatibility) for efficient, long-running devices.
- Test, debug, and improve hardware reliability, including Wi-Fi stability, environmental testing, and enclosure design.
- Collaborate with backend/software teams to ensure smooth data transmission and cloud/IoT integration.
- Prepare BOMs, documentation, and support small-batch production and scaling to higher volumes.
Must-Have Requirements :
- Proven College Project Experience (Mandatory): You must have already built and demonstrated working hardware projects during college using ESP32 or Arduino for example, robotics prototypes, IoT devices with sensors/actuators, wireless data transmission, or any similar embedded system.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- ESP32 and Arduino platforms (programming, peripherals, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth)
- Firmware development (Arduino IDE or ESP-IDF)
- Basic electronics, soldering, prototyping, and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of PCB design tools (KiCad / EasyEDA) and component sourcing.
- Passion for building cheap, reliable, and practical hardware products from scratch.
Good-to-Have Skills :
- Experience with custom PCB fabrication services (JLCPCB/PCBWay) and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with sensors, motors, cameras, or other robotics components.
- Basic Python scripting for testing or automation.
- Knowledge of 3D printing or enclosure design for prototypes.
What We Offer :
- End-to-end ownership of hardware products right from Day 1.
- Real exposure to production scaling (prototype → 100–1000+ units).
- Competitive fresher salary + performance bonus.
- Fast learning curve in embedded hardware, robotics, and IoT product development.
- Flexible work environment with room to experiment and innovate.
If you have already built and showcased ESP32 or Arduino-based hardware projects in college, this role is perfect for you.
