Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee pharmacy operations, ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, provide clinical guidance to patients and healthcare professionals, and maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent clinical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy to ensure efficient workflow.
- Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications.
- Counsel patients on the safe use of medications, dosage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Provide medication therapy recommendations and support to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and oversee the procurement and storage of medications.
- Lead and mentor pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff.
- Implement quality assurance initiatives to promote medication safety and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Participate in clinical audits, medication reviews, and continuous quality improvement programs.
- Handle controlled substances in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Resolve medication-related issues and respond promptly to patient and physician inquiries.
Qualifications
- B. pharm or D. Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid pharmacist registration/license with the applicable State Pharmacy Council.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and clinical pharmacy practices.
- Experience with pharmacy management software and electronic medical records is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of NABH/JCI standards and medication safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
