We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Site Engineer to supervise and manage construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor site progress and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project managers.
- Conduct site measurements and prepare quantity calculations.
- Ensure quality control of construction materials and workmanship.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Verify contractor bills and maintain site records.
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures and site regulations.
- Coordinate inspections and obtain approvals from consultants and clients.
- Resolve technical issues arising during construction.
- Ensure timely completion of project activities within budget and schedule.
- Maintain records of material consumption, manpower, and equipment utilization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in building, industrial, infrastructure, or commercial construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, and project documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in RCC, structural steel, masonry, finishing works, and quantity surveying.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and billing.
- Familiarity with IS Codes and construction safety practices.
- Experience in handling contractors and site workforce.
