Job Description – Accounts Manager

Role Overview
Manage the complete accounting, finance, statutory compliance, financial reporting and financial control functions of DropX Logistics while ensuring regulatory compliance. Coordinate with the payroll team for payroll data processing and verification.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end accounting using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
· Maintain books of accounts, AP, AR, bank reconciliations and ledgers.
· Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports.
· Manage vendor payments, invoicing and collections.
· Monitor cash flow and support budgeting.
· Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax and other statutory requirements.
· Coordinate with auditors, Chartered Accountants, banks and government authorities.
· Prepare documentation for statutory and tax audits.
· Process and validate payroll inputs received from the payroll team.
· Maintain and renew statutory registrations and business licenses such as Shops & Establishments, Trade License, FSSAI and other applicable certifications for company facilities.
· Coordinate with internal teams and authorities to ensure timely renewals and ongoing regulatory compliance across all facilities.
· Implement financial controls and identify cost optimization opportunities.
· Provide financial insights and reports to management.
Qualifications
· B.Com/M.Com. CA Inter/CMA Inter preferred.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
· Mandatory hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
· Advanced MS Excel skills.
· Must be proficient in Hindi and English (reading, writing and speaking).
Preferred
· Experience in logistics, e-commerce or supply chain industry.
· Experience handling multi-state statutory compliance.
