In this role, you will act as the face of our brand by welcoming customers, providing friendly product guidance, and maintaining an organized, appealing sales floor. - Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store.
- Sales Transactions: Process cash, credit, and debit payments accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed on current merchandise, promotions, and store loyalty programs to assist shoppers.
- Inventory Management: Receive deliveries, unbox merchandise, and replenish stock on shelves and visual displays.
- Store Upkeep: Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the retail floor and stockroom areas.
- Issue Resolution: Address basic customer inquiries or returns politely, escalating complex issues to management.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor the retail floor for suspicious behavior to assist in minimizing inventory shrinkage.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous retail sales, cashier, or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital POS systems.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and assist customers for the duration of a standard shift.
- Lifting Ability: Capacity to safely lift and move stock boxes weighing up to 15 kg (approx. 35 lbs).
- Availability: Flexibility to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
