Job Summary
Vortexen Dynamics Industrial Solutions is planning to start a new Industrial Automation and Control Panel Assembly division in Kerala / Tamil Nadu, focused on PLC/VFD panels, pump automation, control panels, electrical panel assembly, and export supply to UAE, GCC, and international markets.
We are looking for a capable and market-connected Sales Engineer to become one of the first key employees of this startup division. The candidate must have practical market knowledge, customer connections, vendor contacts, and technical understanding of industrial automation and electrical control panels.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate enquiries for PLC panels, VFD panels, pump control panels, starter panels, MCC panels, automation retrofit, and control panel assembly.
- Identify and approach customers such as MEP contractors, factories, pump suppliers, water treatment companies, marine companies, fire protection companies, OEMs, and industrial contractors.
- Build a database of potential customers in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, South India, UAE, GCC, and export markets.
- Develop vendor and supplier connections for PLC, VFD, HMI, sensors, switchgear, enclosures, wiring accessories, and control panel components.
- Coordinate with panel builders, automation engineers, and technical partners for quotations and project execution.
- Understand customer technical requirements and collect complete enquiry details.
- Prepare and follow up quotations with management and technical support.
- Support Vortexen in identifying the right products, pricing, market demand, and business opportunities.
- Visit clients, contractors, consultants, and factories to develop business.
- Assist in creating product catalogue, service profile, demo panel concept, and sales presentation.
- Coordinate with UAE office for export and GCC market opportunities.
- Track leads, enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and closures.
- Report weekly progress, market feedback, competitor information, and potential partnerships.

Required Experience
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in industrial automation, electrical control panels, PLC/VFD sales, or related technical sales.
- Existing market connections in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, South India, UAE, or GCC will be highly preferred.
- Experience with automation companies, panel builders, electrical contractors, MEP contractors, pump suppliers, or industrial product companies is preferred.
Technical Knowledge Required
The candidate should have basic working knowledge of:
- PLC, VFD, HMI, SCADA
- Control panels and electrical panel assembly
- Pump automation and motor control
- MCC, starter panels, relay logic, sensors, and instrumentation
- Electrical drawings and basic BOQ understanding
- Brands such as Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Delta, Omron, Mitsubishi, Eaton, L&T, Phoenix Contact, Rittal, or similar
