We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing PGT English Teacher to teach English language and literature. The candidate will be responsible for building foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening while fostering a love for the English language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with board guidelines (CBSE).
- Improve students’ reading, phonics, grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.
- Conduct storytelling sessions, recitations, and interactive language activities.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, and assessment papers.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly.
- Maintain student records and prepare report cards.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic progress.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and training sessions.
- Integrate technology and digital tools into teaching where required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or relevant subject.
- B.A / Master of Arts / B.Ed. (as per board norms).
- Minimum 1 – 3 years of teaching experience (preferred).
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Child-centric teaching approach.
- Classroom management skills.
- Creativity in lesson delivery.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, smart board, online teaching tools).
- Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
