The Staff Accountant provides day-to-day accounting support within the accounting operations team. This role is responsible for managing billing and cash application activities, preparing reconciliations and journal entries, supporting month-end close processes, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Enter and apply cash receipts within the accounting system.
- Process and manage billing transactions for clients.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
- Prepare month-end journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.
- Prepare monthly accruals and create journal entries for accrual postings.
- Complete ASC 606 revenue recognition files and related reporting activities.
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports and supporting documents.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to research and resolve outstanding accounting or billing issues.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, including accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger support.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-oriented environment with client-specific procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy mindset.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong computer and general office skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational, documentation, time-management, multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
