Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC machines (lathe / VMC / Turning Center) as per job card/process sheet
- Load and edit CNC programs; make offset corrections for tool wear and dimensional accuracy
- Select, fit, and align cutting tools, fixtures, and jigs as per SOP
- Perform first-piece inspection and get approval before full production run
- Monitor the machining process to ensure adherence to cycle time and quality standards
- Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, etc.)
- Identify and rectify tool wear, dimensional deviation, or machine alarms
- Perform minor troubleshooting of machine faults; escalate major issues to maintenance
- Maintain machine cleanliness and carry out basic preventive maintenance (TPM activities)
- Maintain production records, rejection reports, and setup time data
- Ensure safety protocols and 5S standards are followed at the workstation
- Train and guide CNC operators on machine handling when required
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
