Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Civil Engineering
Job Purpose:
Ensure that all construction and finishing activities at Casagrand project sites adhere to the defined quality standards, company SOPs, and relevant IS codes. The QA/QC engineer will be responsible for implementing quality assurance policies, conducting inspections, managing documentation, and driving quality culture on site.
Key Responsibilities:Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor QA systems and SOPs for site activities (civil, finishing, MEP, etc.).
- Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to quality plans.
- Assist in preparing Method Statements and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Collaborate with the procurement and engineering teams to ensure quality compliance of materials.
Quality Control:
- Inspect and verify construction activities (shuttering, concreting, plastering, tiling, painting, waterproofing, etc.) as per checklists.
- Conduct stage-wise inspections and maintain NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) and CAR (Corrective Action Reports).
- Monitor material quality, conduct lab and field tests (Cube, Sieve, Slump, etc.).
- Ensure MEP works (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) meet prescribed standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain QA/QC records, site inspection reports, calibration reports, and test reports.
- Prepare Daily Quality Reports (DQR), weekly dashboards, and deviation reports.
- Provide feedback to the execution team and close quality issues proactively.
Training & Improvement:
- Train site engineers and supervisors on quality standards and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in construction practices.
- Support handover and snagging processes in coordination with the handover team.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IS codes, QA/QC standards, and civil engineering practices.
- Experience with high-rise residential/commercial projects preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and report preparation.
- Attention to detail, good communication skills, and team coordination ability.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
