We are seeking a confident and energetic Field Anchor to report live from various locations, conduct interviews, cover breaking news, and deliver accurate information in an engaging manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong on-camera presence, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Report live from the field during breaking news and special events.
- Present news stories clearly and professionally on camera.
- Conduct interviews with officials, eyewitnesses, and the public.
- Gather, verify, and communicate accurate information.
- Coordinate with reporters, camera operators, and the newsroom team.
- Prepare scripts and talking points before live broadcasts.
- Cover political, crime, social, sports, entertainment, and community events.
- Ensure compliance with journalistic ethics and editorial guidelines.
- Travel to assigned locations as required.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in field reporting or anchoring (Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply).
- Strong command of Hindi, Punjabi, and/or English.
- Excellent presentation and interviewing skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
- Valid driving licence is preferred.
