Job Summary
The Production Assistant Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the production department in a gold manufacturing company. The intern will gain practical exposure to jewellery manufacturing processes, production planning, quality standards, inventory control, and workplace safety while assisting the production team in achieving departmental targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring daily production activities and workflow.
- Support production supervisors in tracking work orders and production schedules.
- Maintain production records, reports, and process documentation.
- Coordinate with departments such as Casting, Filing, Polishing, Stone Setting, Quality Control, and Dispatch.
- Assist in monitoring productivity, wastage, and gold loss control measures.
- Help ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
- Support inventory verification of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Participate in production planning meetings and follow-up on action items.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to safety guidelines within the production area.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Jewellery Design, Commerce, or related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are eligible.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
