Position Overview
We are looking for a highly driven Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager with extensive experience in Polymer, Plastic Raw Materials, Petrochemicals, Compounds, Engineering Plastics, or Commodity Polymers. The ideal candidate should possess strong industry connections, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to lead strategic sales initiatives while developing new business opportunities across North India.
This is a leadership role offering significant growth opportunities for professionals who aspire to make a measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute business development strategies to increase polymer sales.
· Acquire new OEMs, processors, distributors, and key industrial customers.
· Manage and expand relationships with existing customers to maximize business potential.
· Drive sales of commodity and engineering polymers across multiple industries.
· Identify new market segments and emerging business opportunities.
· Negotiate commercial agreements and close high-value deals.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
· Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations for smooth order execution.
· Prepare monthly sales forecasts, business plans, and market intelligence reports.
· Lead major customer presentations and technical-commercial discussions.
· Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer events.
· Mentor and guide junior sales professionals.
Desired Candidate Profile
· 8–15+ years of experience in Polymer, Plastic Raw Material, Petrochemical, or Chemical Sales.
· Strong network within the plastics processing industry.
· Proven track record of achieving aggressive sales targets.
· Experience in B2B sales, channel development, key account management, and strategic business development.
· Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
· Commercially driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Comfortable with frequent travel across North India.
