About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and proactive Supply Chain / Vendor Coordinator to strengthen our supplier network across South India.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys traveling, interacting with people, and ensuring that manufacturing activities stay on schedule.
The position requires traveling across South India at least twice a week to visit suppliers, monitor production progress, verify quality and timelines, and act as the bridge between our company and our manufacturing partners.
Key Responsibilities
Visit supplier and vendor facilities across South India on a regular basis.
Track the progress of ongoing manufacturing and purchase orders.
Monitor production schedules and identify potential delays before they become critical.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely completion of orders.
Share visit reports, production updates, photographs, and observations with the management team.
Verify that quality standards and agreed processes are being followed.
Build strong working relationships with existing and new suppliers.
Coordinate with internal teams including Purchase, Production, Quality, and Sales to ensure smooth execution.
Assist in resolving supplier-related issues through regular follow-ups and on-site discussions.
Maintain accurate records of vendor visits, action items, and project status.
Requirements
Fresher to 2 years of experience in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
Willingness to travel extensively across South India (minimum two trips per week).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong observation, reporting, and coordination abilities.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned suppliers.
