Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Barista to oversee daily café operations, prepare high-quality beverages, and lead the barista team. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer service, maintain beverage quality standards, and support smooth café operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, and other beverages.
- Supervise and guide baristas during daily operations.
- Ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation.
- Train new team members on coffee preparation and customer service standards.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and café supplies.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of café equipment.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve service-related concerns.
- Assist in achieving sales targets and promoting café products.
- Coordinate with the café manager to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as a Barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso machines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in Barista Training is an added advantage.
