Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented Senior Manager – Bank Segment to lead the sales team and drive business growth across the banking and financial services segment.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B/Corporate Sales, Banking, NBFC, Financial Services or FinTech, along with proven experience in team handling and sales leadership. The candidate will be responsible for achieving zonal revenue targets, developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships and guiding the sales team towards consistent performance.
Key Responsibilities - Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned zone to achieve revenue targets.
- Drive new business acquisition from banks, NBFCs, financial institutions and corporate clients.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop a strong sales pipeline.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closure.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
- Drive cross-selling, upselling and expansion of existing accounts.
Team Handling & Leadership
- Lead, manage and mentor the zonal sales team.
- Set individual and team targets and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular sales reviews and pipeline meetings.
- Guide team members in prospecting, client engagement, presentations and deal closures.
- Monitor individual productivity and implement performance improvement initiatives where required.
- Motivate the team and build a strong target-oriented sales culture.
- Accompany team members for important client meetings and support key business closures.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop relationships with CXOs, Business Heads, Risk Heads, Credit Heads, Finance Heads, Procurement Heads and senior banking officials.
- Manage strategic and high-value accounts.
- Understand client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Ensure strong customer relationships and client retention.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
Market Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop strategic relationships with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions and channel partners.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends and industry developments.
- Develop strategies to increase market penetration and revenue within the zone.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Track team performance against monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Prepare regular MIS and management reports.
- Ensure proper usage of CRM and sales management tools.
- Analyse sales performance and take corrective actions to improve conversions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 8–12 years of overall experience in B2B, Corporate, Enterprise or Institutional Sales.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, FinTech or related industries.
- Proven experience in team handling and sales team management.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales/revenue targets.
- Experience in handling key accounts and enterprise clients.
- Strong understanding of the banking and financial services ecosystem.
- Existing relationships with banks, NBFCs and financial institutions will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Chennai and other assigned territories.

Salary: ₹12 LPA – ₹15 LPA
Location: Chennai
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
