Where You Come In
We are seeking skilled Hardware and Networking Technicians to manage, maintain, and
troubleshoot IT infrastructure across our hostel facilities. The selected candidates will be responsible
for ensuring seamless internet connectivity, optimizing Wi-Fi coverage, and maintaining the
operational integrity of the CCTV security network.
Supervision Details:
Immediate Supervisor: Senior System Manager
Indirect Supervisors – President, Vice President, Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Registrar
Working Relationship: All Teaching and Non-teaching staffs of the Department/University
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve daily Internet, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity issues for
students and staff.
2. Perform routine maintenance, configuration, and repair of network hardware (routers,
switches, access points, and cabling).
3. Install, configure, and service CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and video storage
devices.
4. Diagnose and resolve computer hardware, peripheral, and operating system errors.
5. Execute periodic site audits to identify and fix Wi-Fi dead zones or hardware bottlenecks
across the hostel premises.
6. Maintain accurate inventory logs of IT equipment, service tickets, and maintenance
schedules.
