Job Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the restaurant's daily operations. The role ensures excellent customer service, efficient staff management, adherence to quality standards, and smooth functioning of all restaurant activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Ensure smooth service during operational hours.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
2. Team Supervision
- Supervise restaurant staff, including captains, stewards, and baristas.
- Assist in staff scheduling and shift management.
- Train and guide new employees on service standards and company policies.
- Motivate the team to maintain high performance and service quality.
3. Customer Service
- Ensure guests receive excellent service and a positive dining experience.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Maintain strong guest relationships and encourage repeat business.
4. Inventory & Cost Control
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies.
- Help control operational costs and minimize wastage.
- Maintain proper inventory records.
5. Cash & Billing Management
- Support billing and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of daily sales and reports.
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in preparing daily reports.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain communication between management and operational staff.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred)
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred

- Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
