Key Responsibilities
- Perform piping stress and flexibility analysis using CAESAR II or equivalent tools
- Develop and validate stress models, load cases, and technical reports
- Analyze piping systems for thermal expansion, sustained loads, operating loads, wind, seismic, and dynamic effects
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes such as ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 and project/client specifications
- Evaluate equipment nozzle loads for pumps, compressors, vessels, and heat exchangers as per API, NEMA, and vendor limits
- Recommend and optimize piping routing and support systems including springs, anchors, guides, and restraints
- Review P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, and 3D models to ensure stress compliance and constructability
- Prepare stress reports, calculations, and engineering deliverables for design and project documentation
- Coordinate with piping layout, structural, civil, equipment, and project teams to resolve design issues
- Provide inputs for support loads, civil foundations, and structural design requirements
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and cross-functional coordination meetings
- Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams by addressing stress-related technical queries
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 4–7 years of experience in piping stress analysis in EPC / Oil & Gas / Power projects
- Strong hands-on experience in CAESAR II (mandatory)
- Experience in analyzing static and dynamic load cases and interpreting results
- Good understanding of piping design, layouts, P&IDs, and equipment interfaces
- Knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, API
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, SP3D or Navisworks (preferred)
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary EPC project environment
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
