The company aims to create an ecosystem by partnering with farmers and cow farms to produce quality products for the B2B segment while establishing the Amoya brand in the B2C market.
Role Purpose:The QA Analyst is the analytical backbone of Amoya's Quality Assurance function responsible for converting raw quality data into actionable insights that drive product consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing facility.
While quality technicians test and record, the QA Analyst interprets, investigates, and improves. This role sits at the intersection of data, process, and compliance tracking trends, managing CAPA cycles, supporting audits, and ensuring that Amoya's quality systems are not just maintained but continuously strengthened.
This is a role for someone who is analytically sharp, detail-obsessed, and genuinely passionate about building quality systems that make a measurable difference to product safety and consumer trust.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Data Analysis & Trending
Collect, compile, and analyse quality data from in-process checks, finished product testing, environmental monitoring, and supplier assessments Identify trends, patterns, and statistical deviations in quality parameters - fat %, SNF, SCC, TBC, acidity, and microbiological results Prepare quality performance dashboards, trend reports, and exception summaries for QA management and cross-functional review Conduct statistical process control (SPC) analysis to distinguish between common cause variation and assignable cause events Generate monthly and quarterly quality KPI reports for management review meetings
2. Non-Conformance & CAPA Management Investigate non-conformances, product deviations, and out-of-specification (OOS) results determine root cause and document findings formally Own the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) register initiate, track, verify, and close CAPA activities within defined timelines Coordinate with production, maintenance, and procurement teams to implement and verify effectiveness of corrective actions Maintain a customer complaint register investigate complaints, identify systemic causes, and drive resolution Prepare and present non-conformance summaries and CAPA status reports at management review meetings
3. Audit Support & Compliance Management Support preparation and execution of internal quality and food safety audits schedule, conduct, document findings, and track closure Assist in external audits FSSAI inspections, ISO 22000 surveillance, BRC, and customer quality audits by preparing documentation and evidence packages Maintain compliance calendars track regulatory submission deadlines, audit schedules, licence renewals, and certification timelines Liaise with the QA Manager and Food Safety Officer during regulatory inspections, providing data and records as required
4. SOP & Documentation Management Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality forms across the QA function Ensure all quality documents are current, version-controlled, and accessible to relevant personnel Manage document change control processes initiate, review, approve, and communicate SOP revisions Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready quality records monitoring logs, batch records, calibration certificates, and test reports Ensure all records meet regulatory retention requirements and are retrievable on demand
5. Supplier & Incoming Material Quality Maintain the supplier quality database track supplier performance scores, incoming test results, and non-conformance history Analyse incoming raw material quality trends - raw milk, packaging, ingredients and flag underperforming suppliers to the QA Manager Support the supplier approval and re-evaluation programme with data analysis and documentation Coordinate with procurement on supplier quality issues, corrective action requests, and specification alignment
6. Process Improvement & Quality Projects Participate in cross-functional quality improvement projects yield enhancement, waste reduction, and product consistency initiatives Apply quality tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and control charts to support structured problem-solving Analyse production and quality data to identify opportunities for process optimisation and specification improvement Support new product development and process change validation from a quality data perspective
7. Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports to production, management, and the QA team Act as the data and documentation interface between the QA function and Production, Maintenance, Procurement, and Logistics Maintain the quality information management system ensure data integrity, access controls, and system accuracy Report any significant quality risks, emerging non-conformance trends, or food safety concerns to the QA Manager without delay
Candidate Profile:
Essential Qualifications & Experience B.Tech in Dairy Technology or Food Technology, or M.Sc in Food Science / Quality Management — from a recognised institution 1–3 years of experience in a QA or quality systems role in dairy, food, or FMCG manufacturing Working knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSAI, and BRC food safety standards Hands-on experience with CAPA processes, non-conformance management, and audit support Proficiency in quality data analysis, trend reporting, and use of quality management tools
Technical Skills Strong proficiency in MS Excel — pivot tables, charts, data validation, and statistical functions Familiarity with SPC tools and quality analysis methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, Pareto) Experience with document management systems and quality record-keeping Understanding of dairy product specifications - fat %, SNF, SCC, TBC, acidity, moisture Knowledge of supplier quality management and incoming material inspection processes Experience with ERP or quality management software is an advantage
