About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven, target-oriented, and result-focused Branch Manager to lead branch operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate should have a strong financial services sales background and proven experience in handling sales teams, revenue targets, and client acquisition.
This role requires a leader who can take complete ownership of branch performance, build high-performing teams, generate business through direct efforts as well as team contribution, and consistently achieve aggressive growth targets.
Key Responsibilities – Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive overall branch revenue and business performance.
- Achieve assigned monthly branch revenue targets and ensure consistent business generation through self-contribution and team performance
- Develop and execute business acquisition strategies.
- Generate business through direct sales, references, networking, and market development.
- Build a strong pipeline of Retail, HNI, and UHNI clients.
- Drive business expansion through new opportunities and partnerships.
Team Leadership & Sales Management
- Lead, manage, and motivate Team Leaders and Relationship Managers.
- Conduct regular sales reviews and performance discussions.
- Monitor daily sales activities, lead generation, meetings, and conversions.
- Ensure team productivity and target achievement.
- Develop a high-performance sales culture within the branch.
- Support the team in client acquisition and revenue generation activities.
Client Relationship Management
- Manage strategic and high-value client relationships.
- Participate in key client meetings and business discussions.
- Handle HNI and UHNI client acquisition and relationship management.
- Ensure excellent client service and long-term relationship building.
- Support closure of critical and high-value opportunities.
Market Development & Partnerships
- Develop strong referral and business networks.
- Build relationships with channel partners and business associates.
- Identify new business opportunities within the assigned market.
- Strengthen the branch's market presence and brand visibility.
Branch Operations & Reporting
- Ensure smooth day-to-day branch functioning.
- Maintain sales reporting, business MIS, and CRM discipline.
- Monitor business performance against targets.
- Coordinate with management on business planning and forecasting.
- Handle branch-level escalations and operational challenges.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Commerce, Management, Finance, or related field.
- Strong experience in Financial Services, Investments, Wealth Management, Banking, Insurance, Broking, or Capital Markets.
- Proven experience in sales team management and revenue generation.
- Experience handling branch-level targets and business growth.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
