About the Role
Sri Venkata Durga Enterprises is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Chemist to lead our laboratory operations and provide technical support for Water Treatment Chemicals and Utility Systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, hands-on laboratory experience, and practical knowledge of industrial water treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical analysis of water and wastewater samples.
- Conduct routine laboratory testing and maintain accurate analytical records.
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results and prepare technical reports.
- Recommend suitable water treatment chemicals and optimize treatment programs.
- Conduct customer sample analysis and provide technical recommendations.
- Assist in troubleshooting water treatment-related issues at customer sites.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the sales and technical teams to provide application support.
Laboratory Experience Required
Candidates must have practical experience in testing and analysis of:

Technical Knowledge Required
Practical knowledge and troubleshooting experience in:
- Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)
- Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
- Water Treatment Plant (WTP)
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems
- Cooling Tower Water Treatment
- Boiler Water Treatment
- Chiller Water Treatment
- Softener Systems
- Utility Water Treatment Chemicals
- Biological Treatment Processes
- Water Quality Management
Qualification
- M.Sc. Chemistry / B.Sc. Chemistry / M.Tech (Environmental or Chemical) or equivalent.
- Additional certifications in Water Treatment or Environmental Engineering will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant laboratory and water treatment experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or industrial water treatment industries is preferred.
Desired Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.
- Knowledge of ETP/STP operation and chemical dosing.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to independently handle customer technical issues and laboratory activities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
